Chess Blog for Girls

Susan Polgar's personal blog is one of the most well known in the chess world. She is a prolific blogger - posting tirelessly several blog posts a day on that blog. It's incredible for someone to have such energy and love for the game.

This is Susan Polgar's lesser known blog. It's especially just for events organised for girls by the Polgar Foundation.

Chimi downs 3 GM

19 year old Batchimeg Tuvshintugs or "Chimi" of Oakland is doing sensationally well in the US Championship B Group.
Chimi started the first round by beating GM Alex Fisbein ,the first time she has ever beaten a GM! The second GM she beat was GM Boris Kreiman in Round 3.
Chimi then beat GM Julio Becerra (ELO 2556) in Round 5 on the Black side.

She currently has 3.5 points out of 5 - tied second place after 5 rounds.
Chimi plays White vs Gata Kamsky in Round 6.
